What do you have in EduCube?
There are 6 key modules in EduCube:
Through this module, students can practice via simulated examination papers. Once they have finished an assessment, the system breaks down their results to show the student what their strengths and weaknesses are. The student can then focus their learning on topics that they are weaker at, thus strengthening all areas of the subject.
In this module, students can focus their learning on certain topics in his/her weaker subjects. Students can chose the subject and form as well as the topic they want to attempt. The system will then pull out questions specifically related to that particular topic. Once completed, the results will be immediately provided with explanation on why an answer is right or wrong. This enables the student to learn even after the results are out.
These are stand-alone lessons that teach the students a particular topic within the syllabus with the use of multimedia. These lessons are most effective for lessons that may be difficult to conceptualize. By using animation and visuals, the students will be able to have a much clearer understanding of the lessons and their concepts.
This section provides students with quick access to reference notes such as mathematical formulas, chemistry tables, grammar tips and more. With these notes by their sides, not only will they be able to practice exam papers, but also make quick reference for extra information when necessary.
Online Report Card
Parents, teachers and students will be able to monitor their performance through the online report card module. Parents or teachers who have the student's username and password can easily access the report card to check in on their exercises and monitor their progress. The system keeps a record of the student's last 5 attempts to give the parents or teachers a progressive view of their academic performance.
The Online Exam module is a powerful module that helps students in their final preparation for their national exams. The structure of the online exam is simulated as closely as possible to the real exam so that it gives the students a chance to go through a trial run before the exam. The papers are accessible at a specific time according to the schedule published on the site beforehand.
Students will have to complete the exam within the stipulated time. The system will automatically submit the paper after the time finishes, just like a real exam. Students can then review their paper and results soon after the exam paper is completed. They can also know how they ranked among all the students that took part in the same exam.
